How would you describe TrueU?

TrueU for me is so much more than a classic leadership program. I would describe it more as a personal development camp, with a leadership theme. A bit like having a PT session in a small group, but focusing on my leadership and personal development. The program concept where we coach one another, explore tools and models to apply to ourselves, and are respectfully and safely guided by Lisa and Karin, provides a fantastic platform to dare to develop. A fantastic concept!

I've had a lot of fun during our camps, at the same time it's been both hard and demanding. But development needs to impact me, and the results are proof. 

How has TrueU affected you and your leadership?

I feel like I lead more in a 2.0 version of myself– a little sharper, a little crisper and a little bit more brave. At the same time, I keep the core of my leadership, which I am confident now has purpose and proven to work. I have found my way back to the person in my leadership that I like, that shines a little more. I now have the energy and strength to focus on the right issues in my everyday, as well as prioritise myself more in my leadership. With a new range of tools to work with together with my management team I feel ready to onboard them on this journey!

How would you describe TrueU?

TrueU is a leadership program that focuses on breaking established patterns and challenging one's own truths in one's leadership. With trust as a base, you challenge yourself and at the same time you are challenged by your group and vice versa. You take the lead in your own journey and decide how deep you want to go, but together with others you will grow in your transformative leadership.

What do you see as your next steps after TrueU?

I will continuously continue to work on my leadership and personal development and I have found areas that I really want to dig more into to develop. I will also use the mindsets and models together with others in my team, partially to build other's competence and raise our discussions to other levels, as well as to ensure that we work as efficiently as possible.

To whom would you recommend TrueU and why?

For leaders who see the value in continuous learning and self-reflection. To those who have the courage, in an environment with new people, to help build a psychologically safe place, where you can allow yourself to be vulnerable. With that as a base, only you can decide how far you want to take this journey.

What important insights have you received with the help of TrueU?

The word trust has felt a bit overused, and is used often in company core values ​​etc. With Karin and Lisa's guidance as well as my colleagues in the program, I have learned what the true meaning of trust is and how crucial it is for creating long-term successful results.

Focusing on being a trust-maker makes a big difference in my everyday life as a manager and in my management team. Now I am equipped with more courage, have more tools to understand and a clear plan going forward!
